All materials in the library’s collection must have Indigenous content. As a result, the library is widely used by students, teachers and academia, particularly those specializing in the field of Indigenous Studies. The library has completed the cataloguing of the Teachers’ Language Curriculum collection. The Teachers’ Language Curriculum collection is now part of the online catalogue and borrowers are able to view the collection online. As new materials are developed in the various First Nations’ language, they will be added to the collection.

 

Please note: Planning and development is underway for in regards to an online library catalogue. The online catalogue is intended to increase the amount of digital content available to the people of Saskatchewan through partnerships. It will serve to arrange, describe, preserve and digitize existing audio and visual records at SICC.
