In October of every year, the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations (FSIN) and the title sponsor(s) host the annual "Spirit of our Nations" Cultural Celebration and Pow Wow. First Nations culture and traditional values are highlighted through this annual event that brings together people from all sectors of society and creates awareness of First Nations culture and traditions.

 

Historically, the Pow Wow has been coordinated by volunteer FSIN staff, with support from the institutions, including SICC and the general public during the celebration. However, for 2011 and beyond, the SICC, as the cultural institution of the FSIN, will administer the Pow Wow on behalf of FSIN.
