Gardipy Promoted To Corporal: Profile Of Hubert W. Gardipy

Hubert W. Gardipy

Hubert joined the R.C.M.P. on January 17, 1977, and was sworn in at Winnipeg, Manitoba. He then went to Regina, Sask., for an eleven week basic recruit training for the Native Special Constable program. He completed the 15 week conversion training from March, 1979 to June, 1979 and was promoted to Constable.

Hubert Gardipy served in the following detachments:
Big River, Sask. - 1977-79
La Ronge, Sask, - 1979-84
North Battleford, Sask. - 1984-87
Yellow Knife, NWT- 198789
Fort McPherson, NWT - 1989-91

In April, 1991, Hubert Gardipy was promoted to Corporal and will be the detachment Commander at Snowdrift, NWT. He and his wife Christie moved there in early July.

Hubert is originally from Beardy's Reserve, Duck Lake, Sask.

The Gardipy family is proud of him and wishes to congratulate him on his achievements.
