Belinda Daniels, Project Manager.

I am from Sturgeon Lake First Nation, although I have lived in Saskatoon for the past eight years.

I am currently a third year student at the University of Saskatchewan and hope to be in education administration one day.

This project has been a great experience for me. I got the opportunity to meet a lot of my Elders and I will continue to do so. I also had the opportunity to work with my own Mosom and Kokum and that was most memorable.

Lorrie Dodwell, Multimedia Assistant.

I am from Ahtahkakoop First Nation. I've lived in Saskatoon for ten years now. I'm in my third year at the University of Saskatchewan where I plan on becoming a nurse.

Although we only had a short time to accomplish this project we managed to interview many Elders. The Elders backgrounds were very interesting and inspiring. I learned a lot more about my aboriginal ancestry and the traditions and history of "Our People".

Duane Turner, Junior Multimedia Assistant.

I am a recent graduate of the Library Technician Programme from the Kelsey Institute in Saskatoon. I am originally from Prince Albert but have made Saskatoon my home for the last seven years.

This project has been an interesting experience. It gave me the opportunity to meet interesting people, both Elders and co-workers. It also allowed me to learn more about computers and how they work. Lastly, the project gave me the opportunity to learn more about a part of my heritage.

Ketan Parmar, Programmer.

I have been living in Saskatoon for the past six years and am currently a Computational Science student at the University of Saskatchewan.

This project has been a wonderful experience, not only have I been able to learn about internet programming but have also had the chance to learn a little bit more about another culture.

By reading the Elder interviews one can gain a real insight into the spiritual nature of this culture and on a personal level I can see the similarities to my own ethnic background.

I hope this project serves to build more tolerance and understanding of First Nations heritage.
