Community Development

The Pelican Lake First Nation has progressed a long way in the area of development.  Development back then, included a Band Hall, Band Office, and a few classrooms.  Throughout the years we have built a new Band Administration Center, Elementary School (Chamakese Education Center), High School (Pelican First Nation High School), Health Clinic, Summer Resort, Social Development office, Housing sub-division, Mini-mall, Band Store, Recreation areas, and numerous traditional areas.

Future developments include a larger Health Clinic, new Band Hall, Apartment complex (teacherages), expansion to sub-division, Sports Grounds, and RCMP station.
