History

Fishing Lake Reserve is located near Wadena in the southern sector of Saskatchewan. This reserve covers 3,906.6 hectares with presently 1,205 people registered, of which 363 live on reserve.

Fishing Lake originated from the signing of Treaty 4 in 1876. The reserve gets it’s name from the adjoining lake.
